Canoe Lake has a stunning variety of flower beds on exhibit at the water’s edge. Canoe Lake is a well-known park that dates back to 1886 and had some of the old evergreen oaks planted in 1910.
The man-made boating lake, which offers pedal boats for rent, is the area’s main draw. There is a sizable, well-liked kids’ play area featuring playthings for kids of all ages, including a zip line, sandbox, and water feature.
The Lumps Fort walls that are still standing next to the lake now provide as a tranquil backdrop for Southsea Rose Gardens. The Model Village, where everything is on a miniature scale, is also located there.
