Horse Sand Fort is a large Royal Commission sea fort in the Solent off the coast of Portsmouth, Hampshire, England. The fort is one of four constructed as part of the Palmerston Forts project. It measures 200 feet across, was constructed between 1865 and 1880, has two floors and a basement, and is armor-plated all around.
