The historic Victorian fort’s grounds contain the third-acre planted gardens. Inside are a 10,000-gallon waterfall and stream, a 100-foot-long rifleman’s tunnel, a scale model of Portsmouth Guildhall, a large size electric garden railway, and a small toy museum.
They are located on Southsea’s coast close to the canoe lake and rose gardens and are only a 30-second stroll from the beach. Just 100 yards separate you from ample parking. The model village is a fun place for both kids and adults to visit.
A snack bar is also present, offering both hot and cold food and beverages. Chips, hamburgers, hotdogs, baguettes, sandwiches, and salad bowls are some of them.
On a chilly winter day, you can grab a freshly ground cappuccino, latte, or hot chocolate; on a hot day, try the slushie or whipped ice cream.
Every order is freshly prepared upon receipt.
